Repeat Prescriptions

We are happy to provide a repeat prescription when appropriate for animals with chronic, ongoing conditions. However to enable us to remain within the laws regarding prescription medicines and to ensure the medication is still appropriate we must examine them at regular intervals.

The general policy of this practice is to re-assess an animal requiring repeat prescriptions every six months, but this may vary with individual circumstances.

If it is more than six months since we last saw the animal you will be asked to arrange an appointment when you next require more medication so we can re-assess the condition and check the current medication and its dosage are still appropriate.

The standard charge for a Consultation – Prescription Check Up is £10.96 inc vat.
